Novation is celebrating 30 years of music. Since 1992, Novation has pioneered in developing music production technology, designed iconic synths that made decade-defining sounds and played a part in the process of countless artists at all stages of their music-making journey.
Novation developed the very first MIDI controller ever with the MM10 in 1992. It was the first of its kind, allowing musicians to control external hardware like never before and it revolutionised the way we make music.
In 1993, Bass Station pushed Novation further into the spotlight, developed by none other than, Chris Huggett, whose expertise with analogue and digital synth design gave the world the EDP Wasp, Gnat and the OSCar and influenced many Novation synths including Supernova, Bass Station II, Summit and Peak.
Launched in 2009, the Launchpad range changed the game for grid-based music-making. With an innovative display and performance capabilities, producers and artists brought new life to electronic music over the years.
With many more influential instruments under the Novation name, it’s time to celebrate the music and people that made Novation what it is today.
To celebrate 30 years of Novation, we’re giving our community a chance to win the biggest prize bundle yet – the lucky winner can build an entirely new studio and update their performance set up with a complete collection of Novation instruments.

To be in for a chance to win, all you need to do is show us what your favourite Novation instrument is and tell us why you’ve chosen it. Here’s how to enter.
1. Take a photo or record a video of you jamming with your favourite Novation product in 16:9 max 1 minute long. Photos/videos will be judged on originality - so get creative!
2. Share on your social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok or anywhere else we can see publicly!) with the #MadeWithNovation and tag @wearenovation.
3. Fill out the form below and link us your entry.
The winner will receive:
- One of each of the following Novation products; Circuit Rhythm, Circuit Tracks, FLkey Mini, Launchkey 37, Summit, Peak, Bass Station II, and Launchpad Pro;
- One of each Novation hardware product which is released within the next 3 years*;
- 1 x Feature on the Novation website spotlighting their entry/music and a mini-interview with the artist, with accompanying social media promotion;
